MEET JEFF KIRKHAM

Jeff Kirkham is a Retired Green Beret, Nurse Practitioner, best-selling author, and inventor of the RATS Tourniquet. Drawing from real-world military, medical, and field experience, Jeff created the RATS to give people a fast, compact, and practical way to help control severe bleeding. His work is rooted in preparedness, education, and helping everyday people build the confidence to act when seconds matter.

THE RATS TOURNIQUET

The RATS Tourniquet is a compact elastic tourniquet designed to help control severe bleeding quickly. Its stretch-and-wrap design creates tight pressure around the limb, helping compress blood vessels and restrict blood flow until proper medical care can take over. Lightweight, easy to carry, and built around simple mechanics like tension, pressure, and secure placement, it’s a smart addition to trauma kits, vehicle kits, range bags, and everyday carry setups.
